Advent 2023

St. John XXIII Catholic School (SJ23) is partnering with two local drives this Advent season. Embracing our mission here at SJ23, we believe it’s important to instill a love of God and our Catholic Identity by becoming Disciples of Christ. We demonstrate human dignity by bringing the beatitudes to life through our service to those in need. Our goal is to challenge our students to be leaders in the global society, while serving the greater good. We have divided fundraising into two opportunities – Elementary and Middle School. If you’d like to donate to both (or one), please feel free.

Baby Gifts for Mary

Our hope is to gather baby supplies and items to donate to the Ozaukee Family Promise, an organization that works to rebuild lives with compassion by providing resources and services to individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Ozaukee County. We will host a Baby Shower, where the students will talk and learn about how our collected items will help those in need.

Baby Wipes, Pull-Ups, Gift Cards for Formula (Walmart, Target, Meijer – they don’t keep formula there, as it expires & is very specific to each baby), New Board Books, Blankets, Diapers, Toys for Babies & Young Children

Shoe Collection

Divine Savior Holy Angels High School and SJ23 are partnering with Soles for Jesus, a Milwaukee based organization, to host a shoe drive. We are requesting any new or used shoes in any style and size. Soles for Jesus then donates them to countries in need, especially in Africa.
