P.E. and Health Teacher | Activities Director

My name is Brooke Gibson, and I am so excited to be joining your school community! I was born and raised in LaSalle, Ontario, Canada, where I attended Catholic school from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Growing up, my family was very active—we spent much of our time playing sports like ice hockey, soccer, baseball, and basketball.

Over the years, I developed a strong passion for ice hockey, which led me to play at the collegiate level for Concordia University. During my four years there, I had the opportunity to serve as team captain in both my junior and senior years. This leadership experience not only shaped me as an athlete but also helped me grow into the kind of leader I aim to be as a teacher.

I recently graduated this spring with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education.

I am dedicated to creating a positive and supportive environment where every student feels empowered.

My goal is to help them build a strong foundation for lifelong success. I am truly excited to start my role as P.E. teacher and Activities Director at St. John XXIII.

I am looking forward to getting to know all of you!
