Key Event
We welcome you to join us for St. John XXIII Catholic School’s (SJ23) most significant evening of the year; The 25th Anniversary Celebration of The Key Event — Silver Jubilee. This celebration is more than just our largest fundraiser—it’s the heartbeat of our school community, uniting us all in support of Catholic education and values. It is a culmination of a year’s worth of planning and participation by volunteers across the SJ23 family that recognize the importance of Catholic education and values to our families and in particular, our young people.
Date: March 8, 2025
Location: Edison Hall | Downtown Port Washington
Historically, The Key Event is the single largest source of fundraising revenue for SJ23. It raises between 5-10% of the school’s annual budget and ensures we have the best staff in place to well serve the learning needs of all of our students. Your generosity – whether through bidding online or in person – is, quite literally, the key to continuing the SJ23 tradition of exceptional academics and a quality faith-based education here in Port Washington.
We believe in the importance of nurturing high moral character and fostering a strong sense of community, and upholding a tradition of high academic rigor. Our goal is to pave a path that our students will walk, leading them to serve and contribute to society. However, maintaining this tradition comes at a cost, and events like The Key Event are vital to ensuring the continued success of SJ23 for generations to come.
Come for an evening of fun, camaraderie, and impactful giving. Your presence and participation will help shape the future of our students and our community.
We look forward to celebrating with you and making a difference together!
