Principal
I come from a big, loving family with five sisters, three brothers, and two incredibly supportive parents who have been happily married for more than 58 years. Their example taught me the importance of faith, unconditional love, and finding joy in everyday moments. Through the power of prayer, love, and plenty of laughter, our family has remained wonderfully close.
Family and friendships are at the heart of who I am, and I love making the most of every day with the people I care about. Whether we’re biking, cheering on our favorite teams, enjoying live music, skiing, or exploring new places, my favorite moments are the ones spent creating lasting memories together.
My husband and I have been together since we were high school sweethearts and have been blessed with 28 wonderful years of marriage. Together, we’ve raised four amazing children who continue to bring us so much joy. Our family has recently grown to include a wonderful son-in-law, sweet daughter-in-law, and our first grandchild, a blessing that has filled our hearts in a whole new way. We also cherish being part of a large extended family that includes 30 nieces and nephews, making family gatherings full of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
I graduated from Concordia University with a degree in Education and a minor in Early Childhood before earning my Master’s Degree years later in Curriculum and Instruction and my Reading #316 License. The 2026–2027 school year marks my 11th year as part of the St. John XXIII family, and I feel truly blessed to serve as principal of this incredible school and parish community.
A few of My Favorite Things: long walks/hikes, bonfires, sunsets, live music, the beach, card games with friends/family, being a mom & grandma, and chai tea.
I am truly grateful to serve once again as principal of St. John XXIII and to be part of this incredible school and parish community. This community has had a profound impact on both my life and my family’s, and I feel deeply blessed by the relationships I’ve built with our students, families, and staff over the years. God is so good!
