Physical Education Teacher | Athletic Director
Mr. Zach Wilder
Originally from Michigan, I grew up between Indian River and Midland, where I attended high school. My family means everything to me — my parents, Monte and Jackie, and my older sister, Maddie, still live in Michigan, and I enjoy visiting them whenever I can. We love spending time together at the lake, camping, hunting, and playing cards.
I played lacrosse in college and now coach the sport, which has been a rewarding way for me to continue sharing my passion for teamwork, discipline, and athletics with young athletes.
Outside of school, I enjoy staying active through working out, sports, hiking, and exploring new places. I’m also a huge football fan — both NFL and college football — and I’m always up for talking about sports or movies with students and staff alike!
I recently graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology in May 2025. This past school year, I had the opportunity to teach at Nativity Jesuit Academy, where I served as a long-term PE substitute before finishing the year as the building substitute teacher. That experience confirmed how much I love working with students, building relationships, and creating a positive, energetic environment through physical education and athletics.
I truly cannot express how excited I am to become part of the St. John XXIII family. I’m looking forward to meeting all of the students, families, and staff members who make this school community so special.
I can’t wait to get started, build meaningful connections, and help create a fun, encouraging, and active environment for everyone this school year.
