Art Teacher

Mrs. Gibson holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing & Real Estate from The University of Cincinnati, and a Math Specialist Graduate Certificate from UW-Stout.  She is originally from Northern Kentucky; however, being the spouse of a Retired Army Officer has taken her all over the world where Cindy spent her time as a leader, volunteer and teacher for numerous military organizations, schools, scouts and churches.  Cindy and her husband, Michael, have three children, Andrew (26), Emily (22) and Abigail (17).   They reside in Grafton and have happily made Wisconsin their home since 2012.  Cindy is beginning her 9th year as Art Teacher at St. John XXIII as well as working as a math support teacher.   Prior to teaching at SJXXIII, Cindy worked in the Grafton School District and at Nicolet High School.  She has a passion for art (and math) and loves sharing her creativity with her friends, children and students.  In her free time, Cindy enjoys traveling, watching sports, attending Badger football games, reading, kayaking, camping, spending time with her family, visiting her son in the Army, and of course anything related to the arts.
