St. John XXIII Parish is proud to offer our CRE (Catholic Religious Education) program to the young people of the parish.  Child & Youth Ministry directs the program for Kindergarten through tenth graders who do not attend a Catholic school. (Eleventh graders participate in the Confirmation preparation program which is run separately from CRE.) CRE meets on Mondays from September to around Easter, as well as a summer option for our elementary age young people. And while the program is set up as classes, our goal is to touch all aspects of faith, not just knowing the faith but living our faith through various activities, experiences and projects. For more information, see the CRE Handbook and the Calendar. We ask that all families complete a registration form so we can ensure enough materials – and adult leaders – so this is a meaningful experience for everyone!

Prayer Sheets

An important component to the faith formation of our young people, especially in the younger grades, is to learn their Catholic prayers. As such, we ask that parents pray with their children on a daily basis and turn in these prayer sheets once a month. We will give the prayer sheets to the students but if they are misplaced, they can also be accessed below:
