School Staff Type: Early Childhood Program

We enjoy playing with our dog Sadie, going up north and watching movies with popcorn!

My husband and I have a 6-year-old daughter named Ayla and are looking forward to welcoming our son in October.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (Regular and Special Education) from UW-Whitewater and my Master’s degree from Cardinal Stritch University. I have been teaching in early childhood education for 19 years.

I hope to engage the youngest students at St. John XXIII in meaningful and interactive activities through play, art, music and movement.

I look forward to meeting the students and families next year!

Whenever we have free time, we try to plan family vacations and hang out with our neighbors and friends!

I’m married and have two children, Samuel and Scarlett, who attend St. John XXlll. They are involved in several sports, and our weekends involve cheering on our kids all year long!

I graduated from UW Whitewater with a BA in Art. I have several years of experience in Child Care, working with infants to school age. I also worked for a couple of years as a Special Ed Aide for Cedarburg Elementary School.

We love our St. John XXlll Catholic School and I’m so lucky to be able to work here!

Kaitra is proud to have been educated at Port Catholic, where her mother taught for almost 20 years.

She loves spending time with her family, especially going on adventures with her nephew and niece. Some of the things she enjoys include spoiling her dogs, baking, jigsawpuzzles and reading.

Catholic Schools have been an important part of Kaitra’s life for as long as she can remember.

Kaitra has a degree in History from UWMilwaukee and received her teaching certification from Cardinal Stritch University.

She began her career teaching 4th grade at Port Catholic. Her journey has since led her to St. Rafael to teach K4 and St. Robert to teach Kindergarten.

My name is Rachel Chartier. This will be my third year at St. John XXIII. I currently live in Cedarburg with my husband, two daughters and two dogs.

Favorite things – taking my dogs for a walk, reading, horseback riding, spending time with my family, and cooking.

I previously worked as a paraprofessional at Stormonth Elementary School in Fox Point.

I graduated from college with my undergrad at Wichita State University. I have a master’s degree in Education from Carroll University.

In the classroom, I greatly enjoy observing the unique ways children think and share their ideas. My goal is to support each student’s individual growth and development throughout their Kindergarten year.

I am so blessed to be a part of this amazing school and community. I am looking forward to another great year!
