Career Cafe

This year, St. John XXIII is pleased to offer “Career Cafe” as part of our academic career planning. Academic career planning is an important part of student development as they start to explore their different interests and skills. Further academic career planning will be explored as students enter high school. 

Once a month, 7th and 8th grade students will have the opportunity to hear from speakers regarding their different occupations. These conversations will include what they do, their career path, their education, and more. Students will have the opportunity to further explore the speaker’s career during their lunch and recess time where the speakers will further discuss their occupations with the students as well as have a hands-on activity.
