Ms. Jaden Rieck

Being involved in the Port Washington Community brings me immense joy!

My family likes to get together regularly to watch major sporting games, bonfires, celebrate birthdays, trips up north, and of course…holidays! Some of my favorite things include: reading, softball, traveling, baking, trips up north, and concerts.

Family is very important to me! I am this middle child of my two other siblings Mikayla (22) and Tony (29). My mother is the oldest, so I have many little cousins, whom I love dearly.

I graduated from Sheboygan North High School and decided to pursue a career in Education. I attended Alverno College in Milwaukee, WI where I received my Honorary Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.

While attending Alverno, I participated in a research program where I studied how our public schools are funded and how schools make budget decisions. My favorite memory of attending Alverno was the opportunity to study abroad in Italy, where I ate a generous amount of pasta!

I am thrilled to begin my second year teaching mathematics and science to 5th and 6th graders at SJ23RD. Additionally, I am looking forward to continuing my coaching journey as the head JV coach at Port Washington High School.

Mrs. Laura Gallitz

I am Mrs. Laura Gallitz and I have been teaching for nineteen years. Nine of those years were in the West Bend School District. I started my teaching career 32 years ago at a Catholic school (St. Eugene’s in Fox Point) and am so blessed to be teaching fifth & sixth grade literacy at St. John the XXIII! I enjoy spending time with my family: camping, hiking, kayaking, biking, walking my dogs, and reading. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 36 years. Our kids have all left the nest and have moved on to the next phase of their lives! I have a married son in Virgina, one in Elkhart Lake and a married daughter in West Bend. My fourth child, second daughter, just graduated from  UW Madison this spring. My youngest graduated high school in 2021 and she  is working at Timmer’s Restaurant on Big Cedar Lake. I attended grade school and high school in Whitehall, Michigan. I completed my undergraduate work at Central Michigan University. My major was English and my minor was reading. In December 2016, I finished my reading license through UW-Oshkosh. My full licensure includes Elementary Education, Alternative Ed, Special Education – Cross categorical and my Reading Specialist license.

Mr. Adam Chilinski

Mr. Chilinski grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for his childhood and attended St. Matthias Catholic School for my grade school years.

His hobbies include hunting, fishing, kayaking, scuba diving and hiking. Family is extremely important and they love spending time at their cabin in Northern Wisconsin.

Mr. Chilinski, his wife, son, and two dogs call Port Washington home.

Mr. Chilinski received his undergraduate from the University of Wisconsin Stevens-Point in Natural Resources, where he had the privilege of conducting various scientific research projects including water quality and invasive species.

His passion to make a difference in the lives of others eventually led him to the field of education. As a result, he completed his Masters Degree in Education from Cardinal Stritch University with an emphasis in Special Education Services.

“I am incredibly blessed to be at St. John XXIII Catholic School, I can not wait for another great school year!”

A Little More About Me:

When he is not in the classroom you will find him doing something outdoors! In addition to his love for the outdoors, is Wisconsin sports. Go Brewers, Bucks and Packers!
